April Showers, May Flowers | A Shop Update

With new found appreciation for fellow artisans & online sellers, I reflect: I've learned so much & yet I'm still such a novice. Between April 1st & today, I sold 10 wreaths via my little Etsy shop, which is huge for me! With every sale, every note expressing interest or from a satisfied customer, I'm inspired to march onward.

To my surprise I've learned the skills I use by day in Information Technology are transferable to the creative endeavor... my background has been a blessing! I created spreadsheets embedded with calculations allowing me to analyze all facets of the tiny business I'm running & in lots of different ways. There is so much more to Etsy selling than the craft itself. Nonetheless, the craft holds my heart.

It's another quiet rainy day here in Connecticut, perfect for setting out wreath making supplies & creating a few new prototype designs. I look forward to sharing more of my journey.

May you have an inspired Saturday evening, friends.

Enjoys a leisurely life down south in North Carolina!
This beauty is living her 'best' life in Florida!

Come Rain Or Come Shine

Spring has been incredibly busy inside tending seedlings, outside in the gardens & very dry weatherwise. Thankfully, rain drops danced for two days rendering all flora a brighter shade of their former selves. Something new is blooming each day. Some blooms have already passed. Soon gardens will be planted & fuchsias will be hung.

Have a lovely evening my friends: enjoy the views outside my doorstep & the sounds from my Victrola.
